Jacob Yoon Egeskov Nossell

My name is Jacob, I’m co-founder and the Head of Communication at Enactlab.

I’m responsible for sharing the projects, research and findings for the benefits of experts, professionals and naturally the citizens in order to make impact on people’s everyday life.

To make useful and meaningful practices I work in the crossover where science, culture and society meets to make sure of the quality of our work from a citizen perspective. I also keep track on Enactlab’s work processes and the various partners that we engage with.

My prior experiences involve, among others journalism, documentary films – The Red Chapel (2009) and Natural Disorder (2015), theater – Human Liquidation (2016), podcast – My Damn Voice (2018), comedy, talks, campaigns – It’s not a handicap (2013).

I hold a master’s degree in Social Sciences and Journalism from Roskilde University, and I have received several honorary awards, among others Vanførefondens Opmuntringspris in 2014 and Spastikerforeningens Spastikerpris in 2010.

Daniel Oxenhandler

I’m Daniel and I’m a filmmaker and producer of independent interdisciplinary arts projects. I’ve played a leading role in designing, curating and organizing international arts, culture, and innovation festivals and projects across the world. With Enactlab, I work on developing interdisciplinary projects and partnerships which bring together unique intersections of film, art, research, and impact in order to explore complex social issues, as they manifest across cultures around the world. I’ve lived in various places and I travel regularly in pursuit of culture, film, music and deep learning.

Kristian Moltke Martiny

I’m Kristian. I’m co-founder and I’m Enactlab’s Head of Research.

I work in the intersection where cognitive science, which includes philosophy, psychology and neuroscience, meets technology, practice and art. I conduct research by openly applying this combined approach in many different contexts.

My prior experiences show that this method can help developing rehabilitation strategies and technologies, documentary movies, art installations, theater plays, and experimenting collaborative projects.

I see the potential for the use of cognitive science to be applied and communicated through different media as well in cross-cutting collaborations in order to improve the spectrum of possibilities for the people in concern.

I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Neuroscience from Center for Subjectivity Research, University of Copenhagen, and the Elsass Institute. Furthermore, I have received the honorary award Vanførefondens forskningspris (2017) and Falling Walls Lab (2015) among other prizes and nominations.
